There are no Cats like Bopcats, Bopcats are Cool And we've proved that again. During the 1st meeting about the reunion, somewhere early spring, September seems so far away. But time flies and before you know it, its there. Stress got higher; did we arrange everything? Didn't we forgot to invite someone? Do all these people fit in Cruise Inn? Will we have enough food? And then there's the big day, we promised to meet each other around noon at the Cruise. We were gonna do it. Shit! no key, well then lets start building up the little tent outside. Around 13.30 the key arrived with José, pfff what a relieve. Together with Ella we cut kilooos of cheese and sausage, Luckily Joke came to the rescue, and before you know it it's time to change cloth. Time? Oh god no there's no time left, quick, quick to Alma's home, she had promised to cut off my trousers. (Thxxx for doing so) At the end everything turned out right. Okay now it's party time, and what a party it was. I can't remember having hugged so many people on one single day. It was so great to see al those familiar faces again. Although familiar??? With some I had quite a tough time to remember the face but then I recognised the voice, once I even needed some hints (thank you Ella) before I recognised someone. But that's peanuts on a super party like this. And than the bands, they did so great after al these years, after getting the dust out of they're instruments en not to forget callosity on their fingers. My admiration for them is huge, thanks, thanks, thanks, but I didn't expect it differently cause rock and roll is in your blood. They even got me back on the dansfloor, and to my surprise it went smoothly. This is one PARTY I'll never forget. With the same people as in the old days creating the same atmosphere as in the old days. We were young again. Great to see that old times revive (so glad that Marc didn't have to pick me up this time) Conclusion is that, the atmosphere, that feeling, it's all still there, it will never disappear.
